The Hangman's Bridge (Henkersteg) was constructed in 1457 as a wooden bridge. Between the 16th and the 19th century, the Nuremberg hangman lived in the tower and the roofed walk above the river Pegnitz.

Kettensteg - Chained Suspension Bridge
Errected in 1824 and suspended on chains covered with wooden beams. It was Germany's first suspension bridge across a river and considered to be a technical masterpiece.

We visited the museum and learned a little more about Nurnberg's history. Another beautiful building and beautiful ceiling!
